Job Description
Job Summary (List Format):
- Administer and maintain Honeywell Pro-Watch Access Control servers and related hardware.
- Support and manage Genetec Security Center servers, video management systems, and camera integrations.
- Maintain, optimize, and support ChangeGear SQL databases, ensuring performance, availability, backup, and recovery.
- Act as subject matter expert for enterprise IP camera systems, video recording platforms, storage, and surveillance infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to access control, surveillance, server, and databases.
- Coordinate hardware and software upgrades for physical security systems and supporting infrastructure.
- Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability across security platforms and server environments.
- Perform system patching, firmware upgrades, security updates, and vulnerability remediation.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity procedures for physical security systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, operating procedures, and support guides.
- Provide on-call and emergency support for critical physical security and surveillance systems.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, facilities, and operations teams to ensure secure and reliable system operation.
- Manage Windows Server and desktop operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain services.
- Oversee server hardware management, RAID storage configurations, patch management, and firmware lifecycle.
- Administer Microsoft SQL Server, including backup/restore, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Apply fundamental networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, routing, VLANs, firewalls) and security principles (ACLs, encryption, authentication).
- Perform system health monitoring, capacity planning, and automation (PowerShell scripting preferred).
- Provide strong end-user support and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including the ability to pass background checks and support after-hours operations.
- Work onsite full-time and travel to company locations as needed.
