The property currently consists of our hotel,  Chateau Renault , our golf course,  Vineyard National at Renault , a restaurant,  House of Renault , a cafe, ?Cafe Le Fleur,  and of course our historic winery, which includes the largest wine tasting room on the east coast. Today, Renault Winery has recently been acquired by VIVÂMEE Hospitality, with plans to offer a complete revitalization to this beautiful property, pursuant to the original vision of Louis Renault.

The role of the Food Server is to provide fast a flawless service to our guests. In addition, the server needs to provide a positive memorable experience to our dining guests. The server can be servicing our guests indoors and/or outdoors.

Responsibilities:

Monday - Friday availability to work days and afternoon shifts required

• Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values.
• Know, understand and adhere to company established policies & procedures
• Server
• It is the server’s responsibility to confirm their schedule with MOD one week in advance
• Be knowledgeable, know all products and special instructions per manager on duty
• Ring in all drinks before serving. “Ring It Before You Bring It” It is NJ State Law
• Wear proper uniform clean & pressed. Black pants and proper Renault shirt clean and pressed. Black shoes polished no sneakers. No jeans or spandex may be worn
• Any LBW exchanged must be recorded on the transfer sheet at House of Renault Restaurant, alerting the MOD.
• Restock all necessary items needed for service and or event before during and after scheduled shift
• Review all paperwork from manager, paying attention to special arrangements/details/counts
• Communicate with MOD on inventory needs
• Assist team members through efficient service at all times
• Keep all service areas including kitchen area in sanitary condition in accordance with Board of Health Standards. See MOD for specifications and/or special instructions
• Ending shift with MOD approval
• Provide quality service to all patrons by greeting them promptly and professionally in a friendly and courteous manner
• Be knowledgeable of beverage specials both liquor and soft drinks. Must have extensive knowledge of menu, daily features, promotional offering and be able to effectively convey overall knowledge of property events and locations.
• To know and adhere to ABC laws and regulations connected to any service of alcoholic beverages
• Place all orders promptly and accurately through the POS system
• Remove Replace Replenish Restock all required items
• Prepare guest check and collect payment
• Proper verbiage, good judgment and tasteful conversation must be used at all times
• Set up any reservation/event etc., as directed by supervisor or MOD on duty
• Attend pre-shift in order to execute all points of service and/or special assignments or instructions

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Monday thru Friday Availability
• Weekends a MUST
