In this dynamic contract role, you will take full ownership of property financial management, handling everything from general ledger reconciliation and tenant expense tracking to budget preparation and tax documentation. salary: $35 - $40 per hour

Responsibilities
- Provide internal and external property financial statements, manage general ledger entries, conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and handle income statements and cash flow tracking.
- Work directly with property management to prepare annual budgets, process annual tenant expense reconciliations, and manage setup processes for new properties, tenants, and vendors.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable by monitoring cash receipts, billing recurring tenant charges, processing vendor invoices, and executing timely payments for utilities, taxes, mortgages, and owner distributions.
- Prepare annual financial documentation for external tax accountants, file applicable sales and use tax returns, and maintain up-to-date depreciation and amortization schedules.
- Serve as a direct point of contact for tenants and clients on financial inquiries while executing special accounting projects and administrative duties as assigned.
