Job Description

About Aios Medical: Aios Medical is building the first vertically integrated AI doctor in Europe. Currently operating at an annualized revenue run rate exceeding $300M ARR and serving more than 140,000 active monthly patients, we are recognized as Europe’s fastest-growing healthcare company. Utilizing GLP-1 therapy lines as our strategic entry wedge into the regulated continental system, our multi-phase roadmap moves from blitzscaling top European healthcare markets to full vertical integration across autonomous patient care, agentic prescribing, and automated medication manufacturing. Our mission is to replace marginal human constraints with elite AI-native networks to serve 100 million global patients by 2035, ensuring every human can access mass-scale, low-cost proactive care.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly autonomous, systems-thinking, and craft-driven Product Designer to join our expanding Product and Design ecosystem under a permanent, full-time remote framework open across the European Union and the United Kingdom. Stepping into a high-ownership senior individual contributor seat, you will be trusted to bring elite design leadership, architectural judgment, and structure to complex clinical tools and consumer-facing applications. Shifting completely away from superficial visual decorating, static presentation editing, or low-stakes graphical formatting, you will run an active mobile user onboarding, internal clinical workflow, and cross-functional prototyping laboratory—partnering face-to-face with our Head of Product Design (Ryan Wu) and Head of Product (Ben Dowdle). This position requires a product design authority with 3+ years of digital product experience who models web and mobile application screens fluidly natively using UI/UX Design paradigms, evaluates real commercial and regulatory constraints cleanly, and ships end-to-end interface solutions confidently to turn complex automated clinical workflows into frictionless human experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Design Ownership: Take absolute command of loosely defined, ambiguous product problems, steering them independently through deep discovery, user research, wireframing, and final asset delivery natively utilizing UI/UX Design tools.
  • Consumer Mobile Application Focus: Architect and iterate highly intuitive, high-growth mobile and web experiences focused directly on patient retention, clinical onboarding, and medical management.
  • Internal Tooling and Operations Optimization: Design comprehensive internal products utilized daily by medical, operations, enrollment, and CX departments, focusing heavily on reducing click-friction, workflow speed, and screen usability.
  • Regulated Constraints Navigation: Resolve challenging interface issues shaped by tight regulatory, legal, compliance, and medical requirements, identifying creative design interventions within immutable business parameters.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Team up directly with engineering, data analytics, and customer experience squads to understand system performance and implementation details, ensuring your designs translate flawlessly into production systems.
  • Design System Stewardship: Maintain high standards of clarity and visual hierarchy, helping shape how design operates within a fast-moving startup environment while mentoring adjacent team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3+ years of professional history designing real, production-grade digital software products across web and native mobile application environments.
  • Mandatory Portfolio Asset: A robust, comprehensive design portfolio demonstrating real product work that showcases clear design taste, problem definition paths, system limitations, and polished interface layouts.
  • Proven capacity to manage the entire lifecycle of a project independently without needing constant top-down supervision or becoming stuck in infinite discovery phases.
  • Demonstrated experience defining clear user-experience frameworks natively using UI/UX Design or Figma systems, prioritizing clarity and usability above superficial polish.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with full confidence articulating design decisions, managing trade-offs, and holding your ground in discussions with strong cross-functional perspectives.
  • Location Context: Position operates under remote geographic guidelines open to qualified design professionals residing permanently within Europe (EU) or the UK , with strong timezone compatibility across standard European parameters.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Formal academic or equivalent practical design training in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or closely related technical arenas.
  • Prior experience working on highly complex, multi-sided marketplace layouts or software systems governed by rigorous external compliance, healthcare, or financial regulations.
  • An explicit understanding of modern engineering implementation constraints, showcasing how design decisions show up in real code and software systems.

What We Offer

  • Market-Leading Early Startup Compensation: A competitive annual salary range of $90,000 – $150,000 USD , accompanied by early-stage corporate equity options to share directly in our high-growth financial trajectory.
  • Fully distributed remote work freedom and async-friendly environment, allowing you to optimize your workspace.
  • Comprehensive health and medical insurance plans tailored appropriately to your regional location.
  • Dedicated annual personal development budget of $1,200 USD for professional literature, academic courses, and executive coaching.
  • Dedicated annual personal wellness allocation of $1,200 USD alongside free biweekly health and lifestyle coaching.
  • Top-tier hardware infrastructure provisioning, including high-performance MacBook setups and essential home-office equipment allowances.
