Job Description & Skill Requirements:

Responsibilities

Design and support test equipment, PLC/HMI systems, electrical systems, and testing protocols.
Troubleshoot plant test equipment and electrical systems while ensuring OSHA and electrical safety compliance.
Develop equipment specifications, support capital equipment selection, and manage testing/controls projects.
Perform root cause/failure analysis and drive corrective actions using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, EHS, Maintenance, suppliers, and customers.
Lead continuous improvement, cost-out, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives.
Develop project plans, budgets, work breakdown structures, and stakeholder communication plans.
Support change management and MOC processes within manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field.
3+ years of Test/Controls Engineering experience; 5+ years preferred.
Experience with PLC, HMI programming, and safety systems.
Experience with Rockwell Software, RSLogix, Studio 5000, and FactoryTalk.
Knowledge of Visual Basic, SQL, Microsoft applications, LabVIEW, and TestStand.
Strong electrical testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Project Management experience preferred.
Lean/Six Sigma or Green/Black Belt certification is a plus
