MIG Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $21.00 to $22.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 06:00am to 04:30pm )

• Set up and operate welding equipment
• Perform quality welds according to specifications
• Read blueprints and weld symbols,
• Ensure all work meets AWS standards.
• Be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in producing high-quality welds in a manufacturing environment.
• Prepare and set-up weld machines at the start of and during the work shift
• Repair and correction of any welding discontinuities identified by quality control

MIG Welder Qualifications:

• Familiarity with welding equipment
• Possess a general knowledge of the fundamentals of welding
• Qualify and be proficient in performance of company Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS’)
• Demonstrate the ability to change the settings on welding machine to comply with ranges required on company WPS’
• Understand and weld within limits and tolerances of AWS D1.1 Code
• Ability to prepare and weld multiple joints to AWS Standards
• Expertise in reading and comprehension of blueprints
• Have knowledge and a clear understanding of weld symbols
• Ability to stand for the entire shift of 10 hours
• Previous MIG Welding experience of 3+ years 

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
