Genco Mine Services is seeking a detail-oriented Metal Worker to join our team. This position plays a critical role in the fabrication and assembly of mining vehicles and equipment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work and understands the importance of precision in every cut, measurement, and bend.

Metal Worker Details:

• Temporary position
• $16.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

• Measure, mark, and layout materials according to specifications and blueprints.
• Precisely cut metal using saws, plasma cutters, shears, and other equipment as needed.
• Verify measurements and maintain tight tolerances throughout the fabrication process.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.

Metal Worker Qualifications:

• Experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, construction, welding support, or a related field preferred.
• Strong ability to accurately read a tape measure, including fractions and detailed measurements.
• Experience operating band saws, ironworkers, brakes, shears, drill presses, and grinders.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings preferred.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
