As a Locum NP or PA in Emergency Medicine, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating patients in urgent need of medical attention. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and effective care. Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting to the emergency department
• Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in emergency response drills and training
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist in a variety of procedures, as applicable

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent PA certification
• Current NP or PA license in good standing
• Experience in Emergency Medicine preferred
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Adherence to all safety and compliance protocols
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
