General Manager -  Aviator Suites Hotel Juneau (Opening June 2026)

Step into a leadership role at the start of something new.

Aviator Suites Hotel Juneau is preparing to open in June 2026 following a full renovation and rebranding. We are seeking a hands-on, driven General Manager to lead the hotel through its final pre-opening phase and into a high-demand summer season.

This is a unique opportunity for a leader who enjoys building from the ground up. From hiring and training your team to establishing operational standards and creating the culture, you will play a direct role in shaping the success of this property from day one.

We are looking to fill this role quickly, as timing is critical with the upcoming season.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the hotel through pre-opening, including hiring, onboarding, and training the full team
  • Establish operational structure, standards, and workflows ahead of opening
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales coordination
  • Drive revenue performance through pricing strategy, cost control, and market awareness
  • Build and develop a strong, service-focused team culture from the ground up
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and company expectations
  • Partner closely with ownership and leadership to execute opening and operational goals

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in select service or extended stay hotels
  • Prior hotel opening or renovation experience strongly preferred
  • A hands-on leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and supporting the operation as needed
  • Strong ability to recruit, hire, and build teams in a challenging labor market
  • Solid financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Ability to create structure, drive accountability, and maintain consistency in a fast-moving environment
  • Someone who thrives in change and can bring stability during ramp-up
