Job Description

Salary: $78,200 - 105,800 per year Requirements:

  • We require a bachelors degree or equivalent.
  • We must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • We require at least 1 year of experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada.
  • We require at least 1 year of experience using an object-oriented programming language.
  • We require at least 1 year of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems.
  • Preferred qualifications include a bachelor of science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, or a bachelors degree with 4+ years of directly related experience, or 8+ years of related experience.
  • Preferred experience includes Agile/SAFe development.
  • Preferred experience includes DevOps tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Git Bash, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Preferred programming languages include Ada, C, C++, and Python.
  • We value the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with stakeholders across different backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Preferred experience includes developing embedded real-time software.
  • Preferred experience includes working with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Responsibilities:
  • We assist with the design, development, testing, and maintenance of non-embedded software across the full lifecycle in line with industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • We gather and analyze customer needs to translate them into initial software designs.
  • We support the development, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of software products and system integrations.
  • We help create and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and design documentation for software products.
  • We assist in debugging and resolving issues to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • We handle user inquiries, troubleshoot technical problems, and analyze user feedback.
  • We support the adoption of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes relevant to software development.
  • We help develop, implement, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
  • We provide information to support software research and development projects.
  • We gather information to support software project management and supplier management activities.
  • We help track and assess team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
