Job Description

My well-respected client in the Elko area is looking to add a Dental Hygienist to their already well-established team. All of their staff members are offered continued training to assist in your transition into the role. They also offer a competitive compensation package which includes health insurance plans, a competitive bonus structure, PTO, and 401k. The ideal candidate for this position will have all, or the majority of the following:

Responsibilities:

* Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
* Take radiographs of patients using standard dental radiographic equipment.
* Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patients chart.
* Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as fluorides and sealants.
* Perform the following duties as applicable by practice and/or state laws:

* Screen for Oral Cancer.
* Take alginate impressions and fabricate whitening trays.

Qualifications:

* Valid Dental Hygienist License
* Maintain up to date trainings as required by law.
* Versed in Dentrix is preferred.
* Certification for other duties as required by the state practice act.
