Job Description

The Delivery Driver plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites, vendors, and company facilities. This position is essential to the smooth operation of daily business, helping the team deliver outstanding results to clients and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Operate vehicles, including trucks and trailers, safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Transport materials, equipment, and supplies between company locations, job sites, vendors, and customers.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and materials efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Communicate delivery schedules, delays, and issues with supervisors and dispatch personnel.
  • Assist with equipment staging, yard organization, and inventory movement as needed.
  • Ensure all cargo is properly secured and transported without damage.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance of assigned vehicles.
  • Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL a plus.
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to operate trucks, trailers, and equipment-hauling vehicles safely.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Experience hauling landscape, construction, or heavy equipment (preferred).
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks, trailers, and equipment (preferred).
  • Experience operating skid steers, loaders, or similar equipment (preferred).
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to enter and exit vehicles and equipment repeatedly.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
