Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Data Analyst to support our nonprofit’s impact measurement and reporting efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with imperfect data, can translate numbers into meaningful insights, and understands how to communicate impact clearly to funders and stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Clean, organize, and maintain datasets from multiple sources
• Analyze program and impact data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
• Develop dashboards and visualizations (primarily in Power BI)
• Support the creation and refinement of KPIs aligned with organizational goals
• Prepare reports and data summaries for funders and internal stakeholders
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience working with nonprofit or social impact data
• Strong data cleaning and data management skills (you’ve dealt with messy data before)
• Experience analyzing and interpreting data to inform decisions
• Ability to communicate data effectively to funders, leadership, or external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Power BI (required), advanced Excel, experience with Salesforce
• Experience building dashboards and defining KPIs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with tools like Excel, SQL, or Google Data Studio
• Familiarity with grant reporting or impact evaluation frameworks
• Background in program evaluation or social impact measurement

Contract information:

• Pay: $30/hr
• Hours: 15-20 hours per week
• Location: Remote
• Schedule: Flexible
