⚙️ Chemical Production Operator & Material Handler

What You’ll Be Doing

In this dual-role position, you’ll blend technical production work with material handling responsibilities:

Production & Processing

  • Operate semi-automated equipment for chemical blending, batching, and packaging
  • Follow detailed batch sheets and recipes with precision
  • Weigh and measure solids, powders, and liquids into mixing tanks and vessels
  • Monitor gauges, pressure systems, and vacuum levels to ensure proper conditions
  • Observe chemical reactions and adjust processes as needed
  • Record readings and maintain accurate production logs

Material Handling & Inventory

  • Operate sit-down forklifts to move drums, totes, and finished products
  • Handle, lift, and stage materials (up to 50 lbs repeatedly )
  • Use RF scanners and inventory systems to track material movement
  • Supply production lines with the right materials and remove completed goods

Quality & Safety

  • Inspect equipment and work areas for leaks, malfunctions, or safety concerns
  • Label products accurately and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Enter and verify product data in computer systems
  • Follow all PPE requirements , including respirator use when required
  • Collaborate with lab, maintenance, and production teams to maintain quality standards

  • ✔️ Experience in chemical production, mixing, batching, or manufacturing
  • ✔️ Proven ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift
  • ✔️ Strong material handling experience (drums, totes, bags, etc.)
  • ✔️ Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet
  • ✔️ Mechanical aptitude (valves, pressure systems, equipment operation)
  • ✔️ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
  • ✔️ Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking
  • ✔️ Comfort working in hot, dirty, and physically demanding conditions

Bonus Experience

  • RF scanner and inventory tracking systems
  • Chemical equipment such as mixers, blending tanks, or heating vessels
  • Monitoring and recording process data and gauges
  • Warehouse or inventory control background

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
