BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician for a well-maintained apartment community in Midlothian, Virginia (23113). This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in quality work, resident satisfaction, and maintaining a safe, attractive community.

We are looking for a motivated individual with strong apartment maintenance experience who can work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and assist with a variety of maintenance needs. Candidates with EPA Certification and HVAC/Air Conditioning experience are highly preferred.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform apartment turns and make-ready services
• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance issues
• Perform preventive maintenance throughout the property
• Assist with appliance repairs and installations
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and building systems
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience required
• EPA Certification strongly preferred
• Ability to diagnose and perform basic to intermediate HVAC and A/C repairs
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation

• $24.00 per hour
