Job Description: Cardiac Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and monitoring to provide high-quality care to cardiac patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in accordance with the physician’s orders.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to prioritize and improve patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document medical records accurately.
• Provide patient education on cardiac health, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.
• Assist with procedural preparations and provide support during diagnostic tests.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities and keep updated with the latest practices in cardiac care.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years and maximum of 5 years of clinical experience in a relevant nursing role, preferably in cardiac care or a similar setting.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficient in patient education and communication of complex medical information.
