Position: General Assembly Technician
Location: San Diego, CA (Miramar Area)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00/hour

Position Summary
Manpower is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Assembly Technician for a full-time, on-site opportunity in San Diego. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on assembly experience who enjoy working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform basic assembly tasks following verbal and written instructions
Assemble components while ensuring quality and accuracy standards are met
Use hand tools and light power tools such as drill drivers in accordance with procedures
Perform cable and wire harness assembly, including crimping and basic soldering
Read and follow technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Assist in other areas as needed
Qualifications
1+ year of assembly and/or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with cable/wire harness assembly, crimping, and basic soldering required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Basic electronic wiring knowledge preferred
Comfortable using tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and drills
Computer proficient (ability to navigate PDFs and follow digital work instructions)
Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
