Job Description

We are seeking an entry-level Assembly Technician to join a growing semiconductor manufacturing company. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment with training available for new employees.

Responsibilities

• Identify parts that do not meet industry standards through testing and visual inspection throughout the build process.
• Modify various parts using tools to meet the needs of each specific build.
• Maintain appropriate communication with supervisor to ensure efficient and timely production.
• Complete and submit time costing sheet documentation each day with the relevant service, project, and billing information.
• Maintain a professional manner to enhance the company’s image with customers.
• Follow necessary safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Clean the working area prior to leaving each job.
• Attend and participate in departmental or company meetings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Complete routine tasks according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Work with direct supervision.

Essential Skills

• Basic to intermediary knowledge of assembly production processes.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Mechanical and inspection knowledge.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or Trade School Certification could suffice with experience.
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Excellent math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.

Work Environment

Work in a growing manufacturing company that designs and manufactures machinery. Operate during the 1st Shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saugerties, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
